About the dj:
DJLeech originates from Manchester, England in the U.K.
He has a wealth of Djing experience, in the U.K. and with a few International venues under his belt, Thailand, Philippines and Greece.
His interest in mixing dates way back to 1983, when he could be found creating "mix tapes" on an old tape recorder with the play and pause buttons.
His real interest in House music came around after hearing the house dance classic "Jack Your Body" by Steve Silk Hurley in '87.
Fast forward to '93, thats when he got really hands on into mixing, when he bought his first pair of Technics 1210's:) Leech didnt however DJ anywhere until around 1995, Originally playing hard Techno, since then his style has changed just like the technology on which he plays his tunes.
He has a weekly Residency in Manchester where at the weekends you can catch him playing mainstream club tracks.
Music Style:
DJleechs' preffered style is an ecclectic mix of Techhouse/Techno/Minimal/DeepHouse which you will hear if you tune into to his live Broadcasts on Channel 3 with "theBasement" Sessions.
He has been known to take the Sessions onto channel 1&2 also, playing House and R&B for the appropriate Channel.
