Originally a vinyl DJ spinning at raves in the late 1990's, i ended up running a website at hardsignal.com, hosting a live weekly radio show. In 2002, we founded now legendary hard techno label, Hardsignal Recordings. Myself and label-mates Patrick DSP & DJ Pauze travelled from Canada to Brazil to the UK and back again over the next few years, spinning and promoting the Hardsignal lebel.

It was around that time I started looking at digital DJ'ing as an alternative to hauling records around. At the time I went with Atomix and since the original software had no midi interface, I rigged up some midi activated Windows macros to control rudimentary mixing skills (volume, fader) on my laptop. I guess I was throwing down as a laptop DJ before it was even technically possible!

I was one of the first DJ's to spin the very first day VDJ Radio launched like 6 or 7 years ago. Returning after almost 5 years to try my hand at it again.

Style

I enjoy almost every style of electronic music with few exceptions, and have played almost all styles over the years. These days I mainly spin breaks or house when i play out. I love both soul deep as well as tracky tech-house but will more often than not end up mixing both styles into my sets.

Ive always been one to focus on track selection rather than technique. I only hope I can light up the dials when i'm on VDJ Radio this time around. I invite you to tune in and check it out!
