My main external hard drive might be BROKEN????

WHat should i do with my hard drive?
my WD external hard drive wont function ever since i restarted my laptop. it gives me an error look on the picture
I made 2 screen shots, one of properties and another on the error message that shows up when i try to open the drive. ANY IDEAS WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX IT? ALL OF MY MP3S ARE ON THERE!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!

KRAZIE,
if you get a dos boot disk and run fdisk it should tell you if u have a drive or not..if not your drive is totally screwed sorry, there is not alot you can do unless you pay big bucks to get the data of it

Hi KRAZIE,

real bad thing.
As far as i know you can try a software to rescue your data.
On the other hand, you can try to use a company who is specialised to data recovery.

Sry, i only know european companys.

I hope you get back your files.

so whats happend to your music files Krazie??  if they are all gone i imagine your still in the corner crying.

hope that you were able to fix your problem.. and maybe buy another ext HD so you always have a spare just in case..
