I randomly decided to review both the apps for VDJ Radio on the phone, ipod touch or ipad and save everyone the time to download both the apps to try it themselves
First of the app named "Virtual DJ Radio" in the app store:
This app does not work on 1st gen iPhones
Opens up with a nice and sleek screen,
With one touch you can start listening to the chosen channel, see which DJ is live(if any), see the dj's banner and the current song playing on the chosen channel, You can also easily control the volume with the available volume slider,
You can easily share on facebook, or use safari to see the DJ's profile,
This app also includes a proxy option.
Overview: Pretty Basic, Easy to use,
App named "Virtual DJ Radio Official"
With one button you see the DJ's Banner, the DJ's Name, the DJ Who is next, The current Song and the last few songs, it also shows the Groove, Vibe and Wow Factors for each channel, with a tap on the DJ's Banner you can get to the DJ's Profile, You Get Much More information in comparison with the other app.
You have to tap again to listen which is one more tap than with the other app, Personally I don't care, but some people might,
This app is ad-supported, unlike the other one,
A cool little Equalizer tells you which channel you are listening to,
For songs that are played that are available on itunes, it shows the song or album artwork from itunes and gives you the option to buy it from there too,
You can also easily get to the VDJ and VDJR websites from the "More" Section and it gives the the option to buy/download the "Virtual DJ" Iremote app.
Overview: This app has tons of functions, but some might not be necessary for you.
All in all, if you want to get the the music quickly, don't need all the features of the "Virtual DJ Radio Official" app, don't like ads, or need the proxy option, go for "Virtual DJ Radio"
