If you want people to connect directly to your computer to listen to your mixing, first select the 'broadcast from this computer' option in the record settings (see attached screenshot)
As a tip do not set the bitrate higher than 96kbps to begin with..if it's all okay then you could try and raise it to 128kbps.
Also you may need to configure port forwarding on your modem if you're network has NAT enabled (if your computer has an IP address similar to 10.* or 192.* then you're most probably using NAT). Check out
www.portforward.com for more information on how to do this.
By default VDJ will use port 8000, so you will need to configure port forwarding on port 8000.
When you click 'start recording', the link will appear which you can give to your friends. They should then be able to paste that link into internet explorer or winamp and it will play.
