Hi guys,
I am debating what laptop to get to play for live sets. Obviously most DJ's use a MAC but it is just so overprized compared to other laptops. What kind of laptopts do you guys use? Is MAC the only way to go for a DJ?

Hey Entel thanks for you answer... Im not totally against Mac. I am even thinking about getting the smallest macbook pro.
The only problem is I really am an idiot when it comes to computers...

theese are the stats from the mac site for the one I am looking at right now:

13-inch: 2.3 GHz
2.3GHz dual-core
Intel Core i5
4GB 1333MHz
320GB 5400-rpm1
Intel HD Graphics 3000

Would that be good enough?

13 " is very small for a good DJ set viewing i think....

take a look for almost a 15" and a macbook with video card dedicated (intel 3000 I think has the shared memory)

ok so I got the macbook pro 13 inch. My dad did not use his in one year so he just gave it to me. Works perfect and I think after such a short time I would not like to change. But you guys are right that 13 inch is a little small. It is enough for me so fare but in a while I am going to buy a 15 or 17 inch.
